I was on H4 and had applied for H1B in 2008. After long processing and being pending for a long time it finally got approved in July 2009.

My question is, does my H1B start from oct 2008 or oct 2009? Can someone reply me on this.

I had FP done way back in October 07..but there is no status change LUD on I-485..what to do??.:confused:..Do I take an appointment to talk to an officer or simply call USCIS ..

I received an RFE on my I-140 and we responded back with the company tax statements on Dec 2nd 2007. We saw LUDs on I-140 on Dec 4th, Dec 5th 2007.

There were simultaneous LUDs on 12/12/2007 on my pending 485, my wife's pending 485 and my wife's pending advance parole after the FP LUD. Is it common ?

Today (1/2/208), we checked the status and found that they mailed the Advance parole document for my wife. Note that I got the AP and EAD and my wife got EAD earlier.

Please let me know if anyone faced the similar pattern.

Here is my scenario...

1. Applied my first EAD thru some lawyer (hence G-28)
2. I am planning to renew it on "my own"

Can I renew EAD without Attroney help... I know the answer "YES" but the main question is... do I need to inform USCIS saying that I want to withdraw my lawyer's and hence G-28 which was filed along with my first EAD?

If anyone are sucessful, please help me...My question is not on how to self apply EAD..My question is whether we need to inform USCIS about G-28...

I had emailed the Murthy team on Friday. Today Mr Vasant Nayak from Murthy.com emailed me back with concerns since i had emailed him from yahoo and my name was not in the list of volunteers. I have given him Admin and Walden Pond's names and have emailed both Admin and Walden Pond to touch base with him.

Guys
Just want to know my options here and here is my scenario:

I am on H1-B and my 6 years of H1B is going to complete on March so I have almost 1 more year to complete my 6 years of h1-B
Right now, I have my LC and I-140 approved from my present employer.
Now, I am thinking about moving onto a new job where the new employer is ready to start my GC immediately I take the new job.
My question is:
If I take the new job, would I get my new H-1B for 3 years since my I-140 with old employer/current employer is already approved ?
I don't have the copy of my I-140 but I think I can get it.

Also, if I start the transfer to new employer, would I get 3 year H1B or just remaining 1 year out of 6 years ?

I am on EAD and I dont have any current employment, except a good faith future employment offer. I am already in bench more than 4 months and tired of it. I want to travel to India and come back after 2 months, using AP. What sort of questions being asked while entering USA and what documents I need to provide?

My friends are advising me not to leave the country. Please advise.
