Hi Tina,
Do you know any employer or recruiting agency (in NY) who can help sponsoring physical therapists for 140 & 485.
I got a NY work permit and got my crdentials evaluated but unfortunately that emplyer is no longer having job vacancy. Now I am stuck and don't know if I can get benefit from some other employer.
Any input would be greatly helpful.
A lot of employers are willing to sponsor Schedule A applications, as far as you get your own lawyer & bare the costs, especially if they don't have an immigration department. So you may want to let them know that you have a lawyer who can file as soon as. Some employers already have the employment notice.

Begining April we should see significant movement and EB2 should see many approvals.:D I am not vdlRAO but I expect my approval by Aug/Sept this year-:D:D:D-: a wishful thinking. Say: Amen !!!

Administration may not want to add that right now. I had poll long back to find out many of us are interested into it . Only few replied , with limited resources we cannot achieve any thing.
IV core had same and similar job , AC21 on agenda for this year's agenda. FOIA was small side project at that time.
Now coming to main point ... We see so many news that CIR is coming in early 2010. Administration may not want to add pre registration at that time when CIR passes and all dates become C for 2- 3 years. Then this pre registration will not help as long as you have labor approved. Whole admin fix is based on rule making process and that takes near to 6 months. Also new forms and new memo to all CIS dis offices. Way too for CIS my friend. They can be only on track with new process after year.
If we could have done that last year then it might be helpful. Even I recently did some research and found that Pre registration process that those lawyers talks to attract us is for H1B. CIS wants to implement for H1B and then try out for other non immi worker category and then for Green card applicants. I bet you we will get GC by then.

Have you given a thought or spoken to a lawyer about starting EB2 PERM when your EB3 140 is pending? After your EB2 PERM is approved, you have 6 months before interfiling your EB2 140 with your EB3 PD. I think that is long enough for your EB3 140 too be approved.
AFAIK, this can be done with little or no risk to your EB3.

You should find ways to participate if you click on the orange Action Alerts link.
Also, click on "Advocacy" and "Volunteer" in the blue menu bar at the top of every page. You will find TONS of things to do on an ongoing basis.
Did you:
Join your state chapter?
Send letters for FOIA campaign?
Send letters on the spate of I-485 denials?
Send letters to Senators regarding Housing Crisis?
Participate in Team IV?
All links are available under action alerts and first post of each of those threads has all the relevant information. I am not sure what other information you are seeking.

That is the victory due to our admin fixes campaign. Your thousands of letters are working here.
We had received good feedback in our meetings with the administration.
The whole process of making final announcements is just too slow!!
We recently had another meeting to discuss one more admin fix item that has not been addressed yet and was part of our letters. Let us hope some decision comes out soon enough.
Pappu, then why no to plan for another letter campaign, if that is what making things work a little bit.

Well, I'm sure you know Employer is the one that needs to file for GC. I think it has been said and done multiple times the various scearios that might ditter a person from pursuing the GC process. Let alone waking up 6th year of his H1B, I'm sure no one is so dumb.

It needs to be handled carefully by USCIS. What happened to the 300K+ DOL Backlog cases that are still being adjudicated at BEC. But the new PERM process got enacted without a hitch. May be something similar would happen with this one too

What is a politician?
Politician is a contaminated breed of Human species. Here's the difference.
When a common man see the problem, he tries to make a resolution and tries to make a permanent solution helping everyone.
Now what does a politician do.. he see a problem and think how can he pretend to get a resolution while trying to make use of the problem for his political advantage hurting everyone and even hurting who were not effected by that problem and then use the same cycle to resolve the residual problems of the so called "solution" for his gains.. and this goes on and on and on.
Moreover the worst part of the story is no matter where you go in this world, you will find this weed growing everywhere and there is no weed control chemicals to kill them and surprisingly common man is a fertilizer to grow it.

I am from Tennessee..My labor PD is July 2002(regular), was forwarded to Phylly from atlanta regional after recruitement was done. got 45 day letter in feb of 2005. I haven't heard from them since. anyone in the same boat with similar Priority dates?
