Can you re-read the post and quote relevant parts of my very first post to prove that i was assertive?
I very clearly said that this info was from customer rep and was true for NSC only.
I have called USCIS twice for specific information because i need t0 travel to europe on a business trip in the months of sept/oct and was interested in getting AP.
Information in this forum or any other forum is for sharing purposes. People should take that and do their own due dilligence.
I have been on yahoo finance for the past 8 years and read many posters recommendation about a particular stock. Do you make investment decisions based on those posts?
You need to update your skills about forums and the validity of its contents.
No one can be assertive in their posts and not even the information originator or its source.
So, please refrain from personal attacks.
I know you and buddyinus are doing just that.

Then there's no point in being a member of IV.
When we've come together in an organized fashion, things have happened - although not as frequently and not to the exact extent that we've wanted.
If you believe nothing will change - perhaps it's time to move on and stop logging on to IV forums and worrying yourself silly about this.
If inaction and giving up is part of your nature, there's little help outside of therapy - no offense meant.
If we can continue to organize and keep working towards the goals, perhaps some headway can be made. Those who spearheaded such efforts knew it wasn't a sprint to the finish.
Question is...how much pushing would be needed when v very well know that whatever noise v make is never to be heard ???

Leave aside the asset I am in debt of over 200K , If I leave the country looses may be 1-2K

I am sure most of you have assets worth of at least $150,000. So if 300,000 are stuck in the backlog. This would mean if these guys leave this country, then that would be $45 trillion loss for USA.
Guys is there a way to get some media publicity of the possible loss of $45 trillion for USA due to US Immigration mess??

We cannot start a S-corp on EAD. Need to be GC holder or US Citizen.
The Internal Revenue Code provides that a Corporation filed with any U.S. state shall be taxed under "Subchapter C." This essentially means that all Corporations start out as C-Corporations for tax purposes.
Should a Corporation's owners later wish to be taxed as an S-Corporation, they would file a "Subchapter S" federal tax election (Form 2553) within 75 days of incorporating or within 75 days of the beginning of the calendar year. To do this, the Corporation would need to have less than 100 owners, all of whom must be either U.S. Citizens or permanent resident aliens ("green card" holders). Once the "S" tax election is made, the return to be filed is the 1120 "S", rather than the 1120. Whether or not you decide to be taxed as an S-Corporation, your company is still a "General Corporation" in the eyes of the state of incorporation.

Also please call to the senators office and let them know your opinion. Please refer about the bill and convey your opinion according to the particular senator's voting on the amendment. The amendment shows the senators are already aware of unused employment visas of previous years. Lets take this oppurtunity.

Preparing for future is one thing but if you think that this is a valuable thread then go with it and enjoy, i just find it disheartening that people are trying to undermine whatever has been achieved by such threads (Like i said, he might be completely right but is there a need to tell it this way) and what are you going to prepare for the future ;) Do you know it ? (If you do, please keep it to yourself and enjoy or cry about it). Right now, i want to be positive and enjoy the fruits of what IV has done to get some relief, why use negative logic to undermine it and that is what i am saying. But I think franklin posted earlier that she got her GC when the priority dates are not current. And shows about 5 EB3s from India got approvals during September whos PDs are on or after 2003.Do you think USCIS might have requested the visa number for their cases when their PD was current?
They can do "wild" approvals, however, they have to do it as per September visa bulletin. IF they dont have enough approvable 485s that are as per the Sept visa bulletin and if the approvable "ready to go" cases are past the priority dates of September bulletin, then they will be sitting unapproved as they CANT do any kind of "wild" approval.
Keeping all dates current in Sept (like july, but intentionally this time around) could have made is easier on USCIS to have more choice and easily find "ready to go" cases to assign and consume all visa numbers.

No. It is true to some extent that we are paying more taxes.
Take my case for an example. My kid is not an American citizen. She moved with us when she was a baby and currently under H-4 status. So she could not obtain social security number that is good for "authorized to work". Without the SSN, we were not eligible for certain child tax credit, which was hundreds of dollars. I tried an ITIN but I got a formal response from IRS that the child still needs to have a SSN to be eligible for the credit.
If you ever filed your tax return yourself and have a kid, you will know what I mean.
